Apple has posted a brand new beta iphone OS 4.0, ready for you to download. The new beta comes complete with firmware for each of the supported devices (namely the iPhone 3GS, the iPhone 3G, and the 2nd and 3rd generation iPod touch). The iPhone OS 4.0 beta 2 download comes as a 355MB .dmg file.The new iPhone OS 4.0 will include many new features including multitasking, game center, email enhancements and so much more. It is expected to be available for the iPhone 3GS and the third generation iPod touch this summer.
Another new feature appears to be called QuickLook. This feature lets users get a sneak peek at files without actually launching the associated application. File types supported include iWork, Office Docs, RTF, PDF, images and CSV files
